Children

Kirsten has always dreamed of being an explorer. But after her best friend Carmen moves away, she doesn't have anyone to go on adventures with. It's no use making a really good discovery if there is no one to share the excitement. So when her parents agree to adopt a puppy from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, she can't wait to have a new doggy sidekick! Buster, the bouncy Labrador puppy, turns out to be the perfect pal. He just loves digging things up - especially the flowerbeds! But when the family decides to go on a camping holiday, can Buster unearth more than just trouble?

Product Information

The latest title in this perfectly pitched and packaged series for young readers - resistance is futile!

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is a charity that aims never to turn away a dog or cat in need of our help. We reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when we can't do this, we care for them until new homes can be found for them; and we educate the public about responsible pet ownership. Every year the Home takes in around 12,000 dogs and cats. In addition to the site in south-west London, the Home also has two other centres based at Old Windsor, Berkshire, and Brands Hatch, Kent.
