Description

This is the first authoritative and illustrated handbook for stroke sufferers, the families of stroke sufferers, and those at risk of suffering a stroke. There are currently over 80 million stroke victims worldwide, and recent research forecasts a pronounced increase in these numbers in the foreseeable future - due to a combination of steadily ageing populations and higher survival rates, creating a real need for an informative handbook.
