Author description

Professor Alice Roberts is a qualified medical doctor, anatomist, osteoarchaeologist and anthropologist. She teaches clinical anatomy and physical anthropology at Bristol University and has presented a number of television programmes, including Dr Alice Roberts: Don't Die Young, Coast and The Incredible Human Journey. She has recently been appointed Professor of Public Engagement in Science at the University of Birmingham.
