Matthew Biggs, a broadcaster and writer, trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. He is a panellist on Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time and a regular contributor to several publications including The Garden and BBC Gardeners' World magazine. He was a presenter on Channel 4's The Garden Club and is a keen experimenter with unusual varieties of vegetables and new cultivation techniques.


Jekka McVicar has been based since 1985 at her flourishing herb farm in Bristol, which is licensed by the Soil Association. As well as being a RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallist, she has won numerous top awards from other prestigious flower shows. She is on the Horticultural Board for the RHS, and writes a regular column for BBC Gardeners' World magazine. She is undeniably the UK's leading authority on growing herbs.


Bob Flowerdew, based in Norfolk, is the UK's most famous organic fruit gardener. He is a regular panellist on Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time, a lecturer at the Royal Horticultural Society and a member of the Henry Doubleday Research Association, as well as writing for Amateur Gardening, Kitchen Garden and Gardens Monthly magazines. He was a presenter on Gardeners' World for several years and was the Gardening Guru for The Express newspaper.
