Oh, no It's nearly Christmas and Bear has forgotten to get a present for his best friend, Squirrel. Now he has only four days to create an extra-special gift. But it turns out that Bear isn't very good at making things: his sweater's badly knit, his painting is terrible, and his chair breaks. If he puts them all together, though, he just might come up with the best present ever . . .
This funny, charming sequel to The Best Birthday Present Ever has a satisfying message about using our imagination to enjoy the simple things around us.
Sometimes it's the thought that makes the best Christmas present ...
Ben Mantle began his illustration career early, picking up his first award in a local library colouring-in competition aged seven. He went on to study Animation at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design before working as an animator. Ben illustrated Callum's Incredible Construction Kit for Egmont which won the 2013 Bishop's Stortford Picture Book Award.
