Author(s): Catherine Bruzzone
What's the longest bike in the world? Who cycled down a volcano at 107 mph? How did the penny-farthing get its name? What is a peloton? Packed full of these and other fascinating cycle facts, My Book of Bike Activities is practically spinning with colourful puzzles to solve practical tips on mending a puncture and pages of cycle-friendly activities. This is a perfect activity book to entertain young cyclists - girls and boys - when they're not out enjoying themselves on their bikes.
Product Information
Catherine Bruzzone loves her bike and all things cycling! She was a cycle commuter for many years and has now turned to cycle touring. She and her partner cycled from London to Venice in 2010 - very slowly - and have since cycled over the Pyrenees in two directions against the wind both ways and from Snowdonia to London - the toughest ride of all. She was a very early member of the London Cycling Campaign and is also a member of CTC and Sustrans. She tours on her standard road bike customised with an essential 'granny gear' so she can crawl up hills.
