This stunning calendar showcases taonga tuku iho (ancestral Maori treasures) from Te Papa's collections. The taonga in this calendar include a putatara or trumpet, an ornamental comb made from bone and paua, an eel trap woven from vines and harakeke (New Zealand flax), a selection of fishing tools made from paua shell, wood and bone and examples of the extraordinary carving that Maori are known for.
